Product Description
We manufacture Air Separation Plants in a range of 30 M/Hr to 800 M/Hr, and also provide related components for the plants. Our Plants are of advanced technology that work on medium pressure, and are approved for reliability, safe operation and efficiency. They incorporate several features such as sturdy design, low operating cost, low maintenance, complete stainless steel 304 ASU column, skid mounted system for absolute purification and low power consumption in gas production. Also, our air separation gas plants need little attention of operator.
Our plants are designed, developed & manufactured in accordance with ISO parameters and global ASME standards. They find wide applications in steel plants, glass industries, steel rolling mills, hospitals, petrochemical & chemical industries, electronic, and construction spheres.
Cryogenic air separation is the trusted technology for producing high-purity nitrogen and oxygen. It is both cost-effective and productive technology for higher rates. Cryogenic air separation procedures are used in medium to large scale plants to make nitrogen, oxygen and argon gases. Air separation is a very common process used in the extraction of one, or all primary constituents of atmospheric air. The three major components are: Nitrogen (78.1%), Oxygen (20.9%) & Argon (0.9%). Cryogenic air separation employs different condensing / boiling points of the air components, enabling separation with distillation at cryogenic temperatures.
At atmospheric pressure the main air components have following boiling / condensing points:
Nitrogen 320F Oxygen 297F Argon 308F
Complexity of the cryogenic air separation, sizes of equipment and the energy requisite to operate the process, all differ with the number of liquid & gaseous products, purities required and necessary delivery pressures. Liquefaction & fractional distillation of air inside air separation unit, is the process to bring forth oxygen and nitrogen. Compressed, purified air is expanded as well as liquefied in the process of expansion & cooling, in expansion engine and valves. Then the expanded & cooled air enters the lower part of distillation column in liquefied form. Boiling point of oxygen and nitrogen is different. Nitrogen is volatile, and drawn out of the distillation column in vapor form; while oxygen is accumulated in condenser.
