Product Description
We design, engineer & manufacture Acetylene Gas Plant for improved efficiency and dependable process. It is excellent in terms of capacity, specifications and quality. It has been designed with the concepts of latest technological trends and proven design. Incorporating several essential features the plant is made as per global ASME standards. Our automatic acetylene gas plant with twin hoppers performs well by pneumatically controlled valves. There is assistance of accurate sensors as well as temperature control instruments. Entire operation of acetylene gas plant is synchronized to give optimum efficiency and simplicity. Safety is the most important aspect of the plant design. It is safe to operate in all premises. Various automatic systems and safety devices are incorporated to avoid fire etc.
Process Description:
Acetylene is produced by the chemical reaction between calcium carbide and water. The outcome is calcium-hydroxide, which is discharged from the generator continuously. Produced in the generator at 0.5 1.4 Kgs/Cmg, the acetylene gas passed through coolers, driers & purifiers to reach purity, and compressed in a multistage compressor (water immersed). Filled into cylinder in filling manifold at 15 Kg/Cmg, the compressed acetylene gas is cooled by water-spraying for improved absorption of gas in acetone of the cylinders.
